We are D. Y. Grace, PLLC. The trade name en•lign counsel+compliance illustrates our desired shift from the traditional
law firm as the status quo.
en•lign's primary function is to partner with and
support you and your business. This name was chosen to personify two concepts:
- the "enlightment" that the understanding of the law provides, and subsequent "counsel" we impart, combined with,
- our ability to "align" your organization within the appropriate "compliance" context.

Ms. Grace is the Founder and Owner of en•lign counsel+compliance. Her primary areas of practice are corporate and employment law, as well as regulatory healthcare compliance. She advises clients on FMLA, ADA, HR and corporate governance related issues and conducts workplace investigation trainings.
Prior to starting en•lign, Ms. Grace was an Associate at Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC. Before joining the firm she served as Vice President, Corporate Secretary, General Counsel and Compliance Officer for Computer Credit, Inc., a North Carolina medical collections agency and hospital extended business office.
She is a Board Member of the Winston-Salem Symphony and an Advisory Board Member of the Benedictine University Leadership, Empowerment, Action, Development and Service (L.E.A.D.S.) initiative.
Ms. Grace has both an MBA and a law degree, is proficient in Japanese, and has an adoring and supportive husband and two beautiful little girls.
